The latest Aquatics-Recreation-Community Center update: At its June 16, 2015 meeting, the Kirkland City Council approved Resolution R-5132, (PDF – 813k) authorizing the evaluation of the Christ Church property as a possible site for the proposed Aquatics-Recreation-Community (ARC) Center and allowing property acquisition discussions to begin between the City and Christ Church representatives. The City Council also set a public hearing date for the formation of a Metropolitan Park District (MPD) for July 7, 2015.
