Juanita Heights Park Work Party: Join your neighbors around Juanita Heights Park this Saturday, August 31. We have a monthly ivy pulling work party usually the last Saturday of the month. We have a good time, good food and good riddance to ivy choking this little park. We go in quick, work together and have great gratification after a couple of hours. The work party is Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Wear long pants and long sleeves and bring work gloves if you have them. Walk down the stairs onto the trail and you will find us. See you there 9:00 – 11:00.

Update: Great Turnout for Saturday’s Ivy Pull – 17 people including neighbors and people from Redmond, Bellevue, Woodenville and Kirkland came out to help. We had a beautiful sunny day and pulled ivy from a boggy area of about 1800 sq ft. Thank you Plaza Garcia for the sopapillas.
