Good news! On Tuesday night City Council authorized staff to move forward with the purchase of another parcel of land to expand Juanita Heights Park. The parcel was in a family trust and is being sold to the City for $10,000, which is 1/5 of it’s assessed value! Great job City of Kirkland! FHNA is still working to acquire more than 8 acres adjacent to the park.
