Volunteer in the Parks During Earth Month!

April is Earth Month! Volunteer in Finn Hill forests during Earth Month. There are many opportunities for children, youth, adults and families to work together in our parks during Earth month.  Choose an event! April 9th – Juanita Woodlands Work Party 9 to noon (even 30 minutes is appreciated!) Meet at the Corner of NE 118th Place and 76th Ave NE.  Activity: Remove blackberries and other invasives, which are burying our baby trees. Bring: heavy work gloves, sturdy footwear. 2016 Annual Meeting Recap Covers Board Elections and Finn Hill Landslide Video

FHNA hosted its annual meeting last night at Finn Hill Middle School. About 60 people attended to cast their vote on 6 open board seats. After each candidate provided a short speech on why they were seeking election and participation on the board, attendees were handed paper ballots to cast their vote. After all the votes were tallied, FHNA was pleased to welcome four new board members: Ed Hunt, Marc Ackerman, Michael Fehlauer and Amy Falcone. Finn Hill Neighborhood Plan 2016 Schedule

In 2013-2016, several public meetings will determine the Finn Hill neighborhood plan and become part of the city wide K2035 Comprehensive Plan update process. On February 24th, 2016 the Finn Hill Neighborhood Plan Priorities Forum took place.
