Join the Green Kirkland Partnership on Green Kirkland Day to help with the restoration of O.O. Denny Park. Volunteers will spend the morning participating in a mix of restoration activities which may include removing non-native invasive plants like ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers.  No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us! We’ve  learned that Ted McCagg, a past Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance board member recently passed away. “Ted joined our board after retiring from a career in airport architecture, to provide insight into our vision for urban planning in his beloved green and watery neighborhood.
