Slurry seal roadwork on Finn Hill

Kirkland’s 2017 slurry seal contractor has delayed by one week the day it will start closing more than 40 sections of residential streets in the Finn Hill, Norkirk and Houghton neighborhoods. Telfer Technologies will be closing each of these road-sections for one business day while its crews treat it with slurry seal. Telfer Technologies will apply slurry seal to 26 Finn Hill street-sections on Aug. 11, 14, 15, 16. The contractor will treat 11 sections of Norkirk’s residential streets on Aug. 11 and 16. Volunteer at the Farmer Markets

Love your neighborhood? Love conversation? Then an ideal volunteer opportunity has come your way! FHNA hosts an information booth every year at local farmer’s markets as part of our non-profit program. Duties may include set-up or take-down of booth, handing out brochures, answering questions, and sharing what FHNA is all about.
