Three Daughters of First Generation on Finn Hill

It was a rainy day in February 2012 that several us sat down for coffee with three special ladies who talked about the early, very early Finn Hill years.  Loita Hawkinson of the Kirkland Historical Society was there taking several pictures. Saturday, October 10, 2015 Join Seattle Tilth and Kirkland Parks Department for an open house at: McAuliffe Park  – 10824 NE 116th St, Kirkland The learning garden is the first phase of developing McAuliffe Park into an education center and urban farm for the community. Kirkland Park Board Tours Juanita Heights Park

The Kirkland Park Board is established by the City Council to act in an advisory capacity on issues pertaining to Parks and Community Services. Three Green Kirkland Partnership parks were on the board’s list for touring this year. Juanita Heights was selected as one of the parks because of the extensive restoration work, the dismantling of an A-Frame on the property this summer and for the expansion efforts.
