Jon Pascal, FHNA Board member, presented a brief overview of FHNA. The Kirkland Alliance of Neighborhoods (KAN) is a coalition of the City’s Neighborhood Associations. KAN fosters communication and awareness of issues affecting the neighborhoods among the Neighborhood Associations, the City and appropriate entities. City Council Seeks Questions for May meeting

The Kirkland City Council would like to extend an invitation to the residents and business members of the Finn Hill neighborhood to a Special Meeting of the Kirkland City Council on Wednesday, May 27. Please plan to arrive at 6:45 p.m. for casual conversations with your City Council members. The general meeting will start at 7 p.m. This meeting will be held at the Finn Hill Middle School and will provide an opportunity to meet City Council members and City staff in a relaxed, informal setting and discuss any issues which may be of interest or concern. Neighborhood Climate Action Initiative

At the recent neighborhood meeting Susan Vossler and Jim Salmon introduced a neighborhood initiative “Climate Action.” This is a Finn Hill grassroots movement of friends and neighbors who want to address climate change by: describing a path forward; empowering local voices; building the political will; and ensuring a livable world.
