StreamFest Celebration Nov 17

The 6th Annual StreamFest will be held in Kenmore on November 17 to celebrate local streams! Kayaking from Log Boom Park starts at 10:15, and interactive art, a panel discussion, food & drink at the Lake Trail Taproom starts at 11:00. You can “prefunction” for the Seahawks while expanding your knowledge of local water issues! Co-sponsored by People for Environmentally Responsible Kenmore and the Sno-King Watershed Council. Bye Lucy

If you live anywhere around the 5 corner stop on 84th then you and your kids have stopped by the fence to say hello to “Lucy” the friendly black goat. She lived in the small red goat shed. Rosemary was her owner. Lucy died on October 29th. She will be missed. Neighbors say Lucy stopped eating about a week before she died. They say it’s because her friend the black and white speckled guinea fowl was killed by a car. Rosemary has a small chicken coup tucked in the pine trees on her corner.
