Big Finn Hill Trails Meeting on August 23

On Thursday, August 23 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM the King County Parks Department will be hosting a second Big Finn Hill trails planning meeting in room 184 at Bastyr University.  The purpose of the meeting is to:   • Discuss the goals of the planning process; • Review the discussion from the first trails planning meeting; • Provide an update on the planning project; • Appoint a citizens advisory group; and • Setup a schedule for future planning meetings. Finn Hill Trail Mapping and Signage

Finn Hill is the home of a vibrant and active trail system in OO Denny Park, Big Finn Hill Park, and other areas.  FHNA is committed to being a partner in efforts to restore and maintain this important community asset.  Currently we are involved in two major projects.  First, we are working on identifying, mapping, and marking trails and historic areas in OO Denny Park.  Second, we are actively participating in a Big Finn Hill Park trails planning project coordinated by King County.  We need walkers, bikers and all trail users who are interested in volunteering for work parties...
