Give BIG – Tuesday May 6, 2014

Dear Finn Hill neighbors and friends:   As you may know, the Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG event is on Tuesday, May 6, and we hope you’ll make a tax deductible donation on Tuesday to the Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance. Just go to our GiveBIG page and donate online. What is GiveBIG? It’s the Seattle Foundation’s annual one-day event to promote contributions to non-profit organizations in the Puget Sound area. If you donate to FHNA through the Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG website between 12:00am and 11:59pm on May 6, your contribution will trigger an additional donation from the Foundation and local business sponsors.  FHNA is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, so your contribution will be tax-deductible.  ·     Why give to FHNA? FHNA is your neighborhood association. We work hard to ensure that Finn Hill’s unique interests are well represented at Kirkland City Hall and in King County government. We have a strong record of working to preserve and enhance critical open space – for example,O.O Denny Park, the Juanita Woodlands Park, and the acquisition of lands for the Juanita Heights Park and the Eastern Finn Hill ravine. We’ve been active in promoting the development of a neighborhood zoning plan for Finn Hill and ensuring that zoning changes are postponed untilthat plan is created. We organize local events to promote a sense of community – DennyFest, our annual festival in O.O. Denny Park, restoration projects in our...
