People and Bicyle Safety: Share Your Ideas by April 17

Dear Finn Hill friends and neighbors: Do you have an idea for a project that would improve pedestrian or bicycle safety on Finn Hill? The City of Kirkland is looking for suggestions, and it has already set aside money for your great idea. The Kirkland City Council has designated $150,000 for safety enhancement projects suggested by residents of Finn Hill, the Juanita Neighborhoods and Evergreen Hill/Kingsgate. City officials are accepting ideas through this Thursday, April 17. To be eligible, a project should cost no more than $50,000. Questions? Dear Finn Hill neighbors and friends: The Finn Hill Neighborhood Alliance (FHNA) is kicking off a campaign to create a Finn Hill neighborhood plan for the near future, as well as a longer-range 2050 plan. As you know, the City of Kirkland developing a city-wide “Comprehensive Plan” — how it will accommodate the State’s mandates for growth of population and jobs.
