Kirkland Citizens Climate Lobby April Update

The Kirkland Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby remains active fighting for a healthier clean energy future. We are preparing for several outreach events centered around Earth Day (April 22). We will also be meeting with Representative Suzan DelBene in April to thank her for her efforts on the environment and public safety and ask for her support of a revenue neutral carbon fee and dividend. Citizens Climate Meeting 7PM Feb 28

The Kirkland Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) continues to meet monthly.  We are preparing for our upcoming meeting with Representative DelBene to ask for her support of a revenue neutral carbon fee and dividend.  On the state level we are writing to encourage our legislature to pass I-732.  On a local level we were very pleased to have City Council members, Dave Asher and Shelly Kloba stop by our January meeting and discuss local measures to improve transportation and reduce carbon emissions in our region.  Our next meeting is Sunday February 28 at 7 pm.  Please contact Susan...

Kirkland Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) will meet next on June 7 at 7 pm.  We are a grassroots group formed by concerned local residents that has affiliated with the national CCL organization.  We focus on enabling ordinary citizens to take positive action to combat climate change.
